You can set up a virtual Midi Port to send the Midi messages to other applications or even to the Application itself, for example to remote control Ableton live via Midi.

To set up an virtual Midi Port on Windows you need to install a 3rd party Software.
We recommend to use the well known and free virtual Midi Port “LoopBe1” from http://www.nerds.de
”LoopBe1 is an internal MIDI device for transferring MIDI data between computer programs. Basically LoopBe1 is an “invisible cable” to connect a MIDI outport of an application to any other application´s MIDI inport.
All MIDI data sent to the program´s output is channeled to the receiving applications in realtime.

Control Ableton Live over an virtual Midi Port
if you have set up the virtual Midi Port on your System the Midi Ports apear in Ableton Live.
to set this up, open the preferences in Ableton Live and check the virtual Midi Port OUT to “Track”
on the virtual Midi IN Port check the “Remote” box.
On the Track where Push Hacker is inside set the virtual Midi Port to the Midi Output.
If this is set up you can map Ableton Live Parameters from within the Midi Track.
